These hats are from a company’s obsolete deadstock that were headed to landfill. They were rescued and then hand beaded by Taylor Uchytil the indigenous beadwork artist behind Paiute Made. There is a solarpunk patch on the back that was hand embroidered by Joy Nuanez on a 1920’s hand crank embroidery machine. 8 of them were made.
