Isaboko x Paiute Made by Taylor Uchytil
Beaded Cap

These hats were rescued from a company’s obsolete deadstock and then beaded by Taylor Uchytil. There is a “solarpunk” patch on the back that was embroidered by Joy Nuanez.

Taylor Uchytil is the indigenous beadwork artist behind Paiute Made. She was taught by Lesley Williams. The Design for this hat was inspired by the hood of the cradleboard. The Beads are from a Paiute-owned bead shop in Nevada.

8 hats were made. All 1/1.
